Santa Clara County REALTOR® Foundation Teams Up With Loved Twice to Help Newborns!
|
We're grateful to the Santa Clara County REALTOR® Foundation for giving back to Loved Twice and helping provide essential clothing to babies and families in need. Through a generous $5,000 donation in 2025 and time spent volunteering, SCCRF helped support Loved Twice's mission of providing a year's worth of clothing to at-risk newborns. Each "wardrobe-in-a-box" includes enough gently used clothing to help keep a baby warm, clean, and comfortable throughout their first year of life. With more than 800,000 garments collected each year, Loved Twice continues to make a meaningful difference for families facing financial hardship. Again, a huge shoutout to SCCRF, for giving your time, generosity, and heart to such an important cause!

CALL TO ACTION - GAS APPLIANCE BAN - October 7th
|
Next Wednesday, October 7th, is the next Bay Area Air District Meeting (BAAD) - the agency that passed the ban on gas water heaters and gas furnaces. The bans will cost most Bay Area homeowners tens of thousands of dollars, or more.
A coalition of Bay Area homeowners, property owners, renters, and taxpayers will attend the BAAD Meeting in San Francisco on October 7th to ask BAAD to repeal its ban on gas appliances.
We need your help! Please join us next Wednesday to express your opposition to the ban and to ask the BAAD Board Members to repeal the ban on gas appliances.
Elected officials, like those on the Bay Area Air District, are supposed to represent Bay Area residents. If they fail to represent Bay Area residents properly, voters can replace them with someone who will represent them at the next election. The next election is November 3rd. BAAD says it will discuss the ban on gas appliances the day after the election, on November 4th. This is why we will instead attend the BAAD meeting next Wednesday, October 7th to ask them to repeal the ban on gas appliances.
