Rebecca Ann Gallardo is a career real estate consultant with Intero Real Estate Services in the greater community of Silicon Valley - San Jose, Calif. ~ dre 01133815 A 30-year Silicon Valley veteran of the real estate industry, she specializes in investor purchases, 1031 exchanges, new home community, and first-time home buyers. An advocate for sustainable home ownership, housing and the Latino community, she has held leadership roles to advance these causes on a local, state and national level. As a San Jose native, Gallardo's other roles most recently include the Silicon Valley Ethics Roundtable (SVER), 2021-2023, Santa Clara Valley Water District, 2019 Inaugural Ambassador & Water Academy to serve on water issues and projects in the Santa Clara Valley. In 2018, Rebecca was recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as a Women of Influence for her influence and contributions to the community. Back at her Alma Mater, San Jose City College, Gallardo mentors “Promise” program College Students. In 2017, Rebecca was honored with a Phenomenal Women Award by the Santa Clara County Office of Women's Policy and Building Peaceful Families for her service.

Rebecca was Chairman for the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals in 2008-2009 (NAHREP) and previously served for over 8 years in various roles at NAHREP advocating for home ownership and the building of personal wealth through real estate in the Latino markets. Her service as a past Chairman continues at NAHREP Silicon Valley as an Advisor to the local Board of Directors. Gallardo was also a two-term commissioner and chairman of the Santa Clara County Planning Commission (2002-2006,2007-2010)), where she oversaw land use, planning and regulatory decisions for Santa Clara County’s nine cities including the Silicon Valley. For the 2002-2003 years, she was a California Association of Realtors, CAR Director. In 1999, she helped as a Founder of the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley and still sits on their Advisory Board, and mentors young Latina’s, and speaks annually to the ELLA leadership program which serves College age students. Other previous leadership roles include the board of the Bay Area Lupus Foundation, the Silicon Valley Latino Democratic Forum, the City of San Jose Human Rights Committee, and the East Side Union High School District Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.

At San Jose State University she acquired her Bachelor of Arts, in Political Science (Public Administration) in May 2001. She was also awarded from San Jose City College an AA in Marketing and an AS in Liberal Studies.
